Sierpówki pojawiły się w mojej okolicy kilka lat temu. W zimie były stałymi bywalcami moich karmników. Widuję je bardzo często bo przesiadują na drzewach i korzystają z poidełek, które urządziłam dla ptaków w ogrodzie. Lubię sierpówki bo są piękne, mają smukłe sylwetki i poruszają się z taką elegancją. Uwielbiam je fotografować i mam sporo zdjęć zrobionych w różnych pozach i w różnych miejscach mojego ogrodu.
U mnie mówią na nie cukrówki. sama nie wiem dlaczego. W czasie wielkich mrozów siedzą w kominie wentylacyjnym i nad ranem słychać jak pomrukują.

Ja również bardzo lubię te piaskowe ptaki. Mam wierną parkę mieszkającą nieopodal mojego balkonu w mieście. Na wsi mam kilka par grzywaczy. Pozdrawiam.

It is a beautiful Eurasian Ringnecked Dove. We have them all over the United States. Your photos are so very good and great to see.

Nie znam się nawet na ptakach z rodziny gołębiowatych, dlatego poczytałam sobie o sierpówce w internecie. Już Ci pisałam, że nie przepadam za gołębiami, które przez okrągły rok karmi jeden z sąsiadów, jednak ta sierpówka wygląda sympatycznie.
